ESD  introduces HappyFood, the easy-to-use and smart software solution for the School Meal Management.  The best suitable and reliable one for any municipality needs.

The Meal Booking at school

HappyFood offers you two different technologies combined with a POS device:  the microchip cards and CCD optical readers for the meal booking at school. During the subscription phase  the student PAN code has already been entered  Inside the POS device. With CCD optical readers mood the user has got a paper form in which are listed all the catering service inscribed students. Beside each name there is the specific bar code. The user will just read the absent students code with the CCD optiical reader and  will obtain the full list of those eligible for the meal.

The  POS device reads the student code in both cases.  It identifies it and links it to the relevant name and to its diet requirements which are on the database.

As soon as the POS device detects the student is in the class, it  transfers data to the Internet Data Center. At last  the Meal ProductionCenter will find there the whole number of students having a meal that day.

The Meal Booking with a fax device

It is a solution that allows to anybody not trained to easily collect the booking meal data. In fact it is a solution at a low technology impact that  optimizes the human resources costs.

The fax form just needs a fax machine. Each classroom will have a paper form with the list of all the student names requiring the meal service at school. Beside each name there are two boxes to be ticked: one for the absent student and the other one to indicate a temporary diet. 

Ticking the appropriate box the user will then collect all the necessary data and will forward the fax thru the fax machine to the Internet Data Center. 

The fax server receiving those data will decode them creating the same image as the fax form sent.

Payment management

HappyFood offers you many different automated payment systems for cash, charging microchip cards, payment at a Post Office  with a specific form, at the bank in many different automated kinds of payment decided by the Municipality which will offer to the student families a kind of payment before of after having received the school meal service.

The solicit management

HappyFood enables the Municipality to easily retrieve in real time all the users data . Visualizing for example the payments still lacking it can decide to issue a letter with names and address of the insolvent and solicit the payment overdue.

SMS

HappyFood has got an sms module advising the student parents that their credit has expired and that they have to restore it.
